Participants will practice introducing themselves to a coworker, a team leader to whom they do not report to, or a client. Consider the following situation: Your vice president is called away to address an urgent matter, and you and your colleagues are responsible for welcoming a delegation of potential clients who speak only English at a social dinner. What would you do? Your director arrives late to the social event and has limited English proficiency, whereas you are highly proficient. How would you manage this situation? When meeting clients who are your peers, you are asked about something whose meaning is unclear to you. How would you request clarification and respond appropriately?
